We divide the town into three main areas:

Upper area (marked green on the map): Ideal for young people, this area is full of bars with great après-ski and trendy restaurants. If you’re looking to be in the center of the action with vibrant nightlife, this is the place to be.
Central area (marked blue on the map): Located around Val Thorens’ sports center, offering a pool, gym, luxurious spa, shops, and restaurants. It’s a lively, central spot, home to “Malaysia,” the hottest club in town.
Lower area (marked orange on the map): A quieter, less central area, perfect for families or anyone wanting to stay away from the party scene. You’ll have to walk a bit more to reach the town center.

Our recommendation: When we choose apartments to market, we focus only on the upper and central areas. This is where you’ll find all the supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. In other words, if you want to be in the heart of the action and make the most of what Val Thorens has to offer, the upper and central areas are the best places to stay.
